Who we are
Authnet Networks and Internet Technologies (Authnet) is a product operated by Byteforge Technologies Ltd, based in Minna, Nigeria. References to Authnet, we, us and our mean Byteforge Technologies Ltd in its operation of this product. Contact us at support@authnetworks.com.
A business using Authnet to manage its Wi-Fi network is referred to as the network operator. Its identity and contact details should be shown in its customer portal, receipts or service information. The network operator may be a separate organisation from Byteforge Technologies Ltd.
Your customers, plans and administrators
Identify your business to customers and provide clear, accurate plan descriptions, prices, validity rules, usage limits, support channels and refund conditions before purchase. Deliver what you promise and handle complaints and statutory remedies. Do not use Authnet's name to misrepresent the supplier or claim guarantees we have not made.
Choose administrator permissions carefully, remove access when no longer needed, protect credentials, keep recovery details current and verify sensitive changes. You are responsible for instructions and actions authorised through your account, subject to applicable law and any proven compromise. Promptly report suspected misuse. Customer information must be used only for authorised, lawful purposes.
Platform charges, transactions and settlements
Platform pricing, applicable transaction charges, settlement schedules and any limits are set out in the offer, account configuration or order applicable to your business. Review them before accepting a paid service. These terms do not introduce a new fixed commission, subscription charge, reserve or settlement timetable.
Provide accurate payout details and keep transaction records. Reconcile payments, deductions, reversals, disputes and settlements. Do not treat pending payments or an estimated balance as cleared funds. Settlement may be affected by payment-provider processing, verification, chargebacks, fraud investigations or a lawful restriction. Any adjustment or restriction must have a valid basis and respect applicable agreements and law; account suspension does not give Authnet a general right to confiscate funds.
Customer data and processing instructions
You must establish a lawful basis for customer processing, provide an accurate privacy notice, limit collection and access, and respond to relevant rights requests. Do not upload information you have no authority to process. Authnet processes operator-controlled customer information to provide agreed platform services, subject to lawful instructions and the applicable processing arrangements.
The parties must address processing scope and duration, confidentiality, security, use of providers, international transfers, breach and rights-request assistance, and return or deletion of customer data in an appropriate data-processing agreement. Contact support@authnetworks.com to arrange it. These general terms and the privacy notice do not replace a complete processing agreement or remove either party's statutory obligations.
Equipment, configuration and availability
You are responsible for lawful control of connected equipment, suitable connectivity and power, and the accuracy of network configuration you supply. Keep appropriate copies of configuration and records needed for your operations. Follow supported provisioning and update procedures. A separate hardware sale, support package or service-level agreement applies only if expressly agreed.
Authnet may maintain, update or repair the platform and should communicate material planned disruption where practicable. Report outages with enough information for investigation. Neither this document nor the software interface creates a fixed uptime guarantee or an automatic service-credit scheme.
Branding, content and platform rights
You retain rights you hold in your business branding and uploaded materials. You authorise their use as needed to host, display and deliver the platform services you request. You must have the rights and permissions needed for those materials, including advertisements. Authnet and its suppliers retain their rights in the platform software and service materials. Your access does not transfer ownership of them.
Suspension, closure and outstanding obligations
Authnet may restrict affected features for a material breach, non-payment of an agreed charge, security or fraud risks, unlawful instructions or a binding legal requirement. Where appropriate it will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to remedy it; urgent protective action may be immediate. You may request closure through support@authnetworks.com, subject to any separately agreed cancellation terms.
Before closure, coordinate customer access and request any available export or return of business records. Closure does not erase outstanding lawful charges, settlement reconciliation, complaint handling or required record retention. Data return and deletion must follow the applicable processing arrangement and legal obligations. Disputed amounts and customer remedies remain subject to the applicable agreement and law.
Lawful use and account security
Use the service lawfully and keep account information accurate. Protect credentials and verification codes, and promptly report unauthorised use. Do not bypass access controls, steal another person's account or vouchers, distribute malware, attack networks, commit fraud, infringe others' rights or interfere with service availability. Report suspected vulnerabilities privately to support@authnetworks.com rather than exploiting them.
Privacy and third-party services
The relevant Authnet privacy notice explains personal information handling. Agreeing to these terms is separate from consent to optional marketing or tracking. Independent network operators, payment providers and linked services may have their own lawful terms and privacy notices. Their terms cannot remove rights that applicable law gives you.
Responsibility and legal rights
Each party remains responsible for its own obligations and conduct under applicable law. Internet access depends on equipment, connectivity and other factors, but this does not remove rights relating to the service that was promised. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, or requires you to waive statutory consumer or data protection rights.
These terms do not promise uninterrupted service, a fixed speed, a particular refund outcome or a service credit unless that commitment is included in the applicable service offer or required by law. No blanket no-refund rule is created by these terms.
Changes to these terms
The version date identifies this document. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate service notices or registered contact details before they apply where required. Changes to an existing purchase must respect its agreed conditions and applicable law. Where a new agreement is needed, it must be obtained; a page update alone does not establish that agreement.
Contact, complaints and applicable law
Contact support@authnetworks.com about Authnet platform issues. Include the business name, issue and relevant transaction reference, but no password or full payment-card details. Wi-Fi service and refund complaints should also be raised with the network operator that supplied the service. Keep receipts and complaint references.
Nigerian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to you. You may use appropriate complaint, regulatory and court processes. These terms do not require compulsory arbitration or prevent complaints to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or, where applicable, the Nigerian Communications Commission. Byteforge Technologies Ltd operates Authnet from Minna, Nigeria; this location is not an exclusive court venue or a street address for service of documents.
